Yes! I want to make a financial donation to purchase food for hungry children and their families.
A $12 donation buys food for an entire Food Pak, which provides dinners for a family of five for about a week!
Our goal is to provide for 500 families (500 Food Paks)! Please consider providing for more than one.
Praise God for His blessings on our recent "Job Search Boot Camp!"
84 guests attended and received professional training on resume writing, interview skills, and available community resources. They also heard an encouraging testimony, and were able to participate in a "Q&A" session with our panel of employers. Pastor Bruce shared a wonderful message on, "Trusting God in the Workplace" during the plenary session. And, everyone enjoyed refreshments from Panera and lunch from Wood Ranch!
Many attendees commented on how encouraged they felt, and how their sense of hope was renewed. Best of all, the Lord Jesus was lifted up, and the gospel was proclaimed!

"Interviewing Best Practices" by Fern Perusse-Filzen, CPC, ACC, FLMI.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this tremendous event happen!

beyond sunday "A-Teams" (Assist Teams)
"A-Teams" are comprised of volunteers from Calvary Nexus who make themselves available to help meet needs of people in our church and community.
Currently, we have seven teams:
Car Repair (help fix basic car problems)
Outdoor Projects (help people repair problems outside their homes, e.g., mowing lawns, gardening, painting)
Monthly Meal (help host a free hot meal for people in need every 3rd Thursday)
Meals Ministry (provide meals for people recovering from surgery, childbirth, health issues, etc.)
Moving Team (help people move)
Indoor Projects (help people repair problems inside their homes, e.g., cleaning, painting, simple plumbing)
Transportation (provide rides for people to appointments, shopping, picking up prescriptions, etc.)
If you are interested in learning how to get involved serving on an A-Team, please email Pastor Robb at firstname.lastname@example.org.
