SERVE OUR CHURCH:

Here are a few ministries that are looking for talented, dedicated, and hard-working volunteers to serve in various capacities.

Calvary Nexus Kids | Volunteers needed for Mobil & Lewis Campuses. Contact Lynn Halcomb for more information: lynn@calvarynexus.org or 805.384.1182 x 101

Serve Our Youth | Positions in High School and Junior High School youth ministries are available for those interested in getting involved with students on a weekly basis. Both meet on Sundays. Jr. High meets on Wednesday nights, and High School meets on Thursday Nights. For more information contact:

the Bridge Youth Center | Volunteers are needed to help work in various capacities at the the Bridge @ Nexus at the Lewis Road Campus during the week (M-F) from 3-6pm in the afternoon. Slots are open for mentoring, art instruction, computer lab, and much more. If you plan to volunteer in Calvary Nexus Kids or Youth Ministries, you will need to grant permission to have a background check. You can download the form here, print it out and bring it in to the church office.

nexus@night | Our Sunday Night worship service is a time to come together in worship and prayer as the Body of Christ. The service will have an extended time of worship and a shortened message from the same passage that is taught on Sunday Morning. If you would like to join the leadership team for nexus@night or serve in that ministry in any other way please email: now@calvarynexus.org

Production | Volunteers positions are currently open for ALL Production stations, (Live & Post-Production) including Sound, Lighting, Projection, Video, Web / Social Media Management, and Creative / Graphic Design. Please email all inquiries to production@calvarynexus.org to request more information or to request an application for a particular station of production.

Other Ministries:
Here is a list of various ministries in the church that are always welcoming new volunteers. Find an area where you feel God has given you gifting and send an email to get in touch with that ministry's leader.

Calvary Nexus Internship Opportunities:
If you feel like God is calling you to take your ministry to the next level and would like to gain valuable experience towards vocational ministry then check out our intern program. Calvary Nexus Intern program is currently underway. We will have new intern positions in many of our various ministries.
