Missions Update - February, 2012

In January, a small but mighty team of 6 traveled to Kenya to minister alongside Pastor Ed Compean and Calvary Chapel Githurai, Kenya.
Pastor Ed and his wife, Kelli, are involved in a fruitful ministry in Githurai, which is a suburb of Nairobi. The church in Githurai is growing, and Pastor Ed is training five men who will pastor new church plants in Kenya!
Our team helped with street evangelism, church services, construction of a new wall shelf for the church library, and an after-church craft for women and children. It was a true blessing to minister with and to the joyful Kenyan people.
Please pray for Pastor Ed, Kelli and family as they advance God’s kingdom in Kenya!

2012 Missionaries:
We are blessed to continue our focus in Baja California in 2012 by supporting Calvary Chapel Horizonte (Ensenada) as well as Casa Estrella Girl’s Home in Rosarito. This year we have also added Calvary Chapel Rosarito to our supported missionaries and continue our support for Calvary Chapel Vicente Guerrero.

We are not only involved in Baja California, though. We support Bible teaching, church planting ministries in Kenya and Nicaragua as well. Our desire is to support ministries in “Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). This year we have added Operation Embrace, a ministry for the homeless in Ventura, in addition to other ministries in California and the United States.
