What I do in my spare time:I like to get up way early in the morning, long before the sun, and drink strong Peet\'s coffee with cream. I open my Bible, grab a fountain pen [typically brown ink], a moleskin journal, and seek God. As the Sun comes up and the day dawns I\'m excited to experience more of the journey with Him. i love being with my family, whatever they\'re into, driving in the convertible, riding my single-speed road bike and hiking.
Things that bug: My fear, insecurity, and personal inadequacy for the call of God.
What I eat:My wife\'s spaghetti and tacos are the best, and I\'m always on a quest for awesome pizza [Props to cpk].
More about me: I love classic films. I\'m watching AFI\'s top 100 [avoiding some re content] but i love the use of great film as a vehicle to tell a compelling story. I love to discover God and His story in the Bible and how it intersects with my life and my story ...making it all real!

What Iʼm watching, reading and listening to: I love to watch science fiction, documentaries and cop shows.  

I read a lot of leadership and spiritual development books...good stuff. Now I just need to apply what I have read.  

I listen to a lot of different teachers and artists.  One of my favorite songs right now is “Oh Praise Him" by “Sleeping Giant.” I wish i could worship as uninhibited as these guys.

What people who know me say about me: “Watch out he carries a knife.”

What I do in my spare time: Surf, hike, walk on the beach with my wife, nap if my wife is not looking!

Things that bug: Fake plastic people, people that are not authentic, people that think being vulnerable is a weakness.  Prius drivers that like to drive in the fast lane. Please this lane is not for you!/p>

More about me:  I retired after 28 years with GTE/Verizon; a career that taught me the administrative and organizational skills that would be used for His glory in such a time as this.  My position at Calvary Chapel Camarillo is a true blessing and I am blessed to serve with such a talented staff and minister alongside such a strong and loving body of believers.
